Wolfgang Riechmann
Wolfgang Riechmann (* 19.5.1947, Düsseldorf; † 24.8.1978, Düsseldorf) started his musical career in 1966. After playing in the Düsseldorf band The Spirits of Sound with Michael Rother (Kraftwerk, Neu!, Harmonia) and Wolfgang Flür (Kraftwerk, Yamo) he became member of another Düsseldorf located band called Streetmark releasing the album "Eileen" in 1977.
Riechmann started working on a solo career at the end of 1977. The result was the LP "Wunderbar" which was released on Sky Records. Unfortunately he did not experience the release as Riechmann was killed while out walking by two drunk guys who stabbed him to death. Read more on Last.fm.
